This is the reference page maintained by the Secretary of State's Office for the elections to the Seventh Chamber of Deputies of the Talossan Republic, as well as the three concurrent referendums.
The following nominations were received for the Seventh Chamber of Deputies elections (in alphabetical order by party name in Talossan, and by alphabetical order within party):
1. PECULIARISTÀ TALOSSÁN / Talossan Peculiarist
Talossa will revitalize through two avenues. The first is an embrace of our culture as one of the prime generators of activity. The second is a diagnosis of our immigration woes, is it content or transmission? We must emphasize both of these if we are to move forward solidly.
Candidate: Eiric BÖRNATFIGLHEU
2. UNDÂ BLUÂ / Blue Wave
The land of Berbers, couscous, birds, bugs, and fish... Think of Olde-Tyme Prussia when voting for a Talossa in which John Woolley and Miestrâ Schivâ can co-exist in harmony, peace, and love. Catch the Wave!
Candidate: Gödafrïeu VALCÁDAC'H
3. UNIUN PËR PROGREßEU TALOSSÁN / Union for Talossan Progress
The UTP is Talossa's 'no non-sense' progressive party that looks brightly to Talossa's future. We will work hard to increase the quality of legislation; to bring about the transition to a new forum; and to bring about an increase in Immigration and Marketing of the Republic. UTP: Move Forward.
Candidate: Txec EREUFIGLHEU
4. els ZEFENÇADÉIRS DÀL REPÚBLICÂ TALOSSÁN / Defenders of the Talossan Republic
Els Zefençadéirs dàl Repúblicâ Talossán / The Defenders of the Talossan Republic (ZRT)
The ZRT is the party which puts Talossan culture first. A thriving Talossan culture is the only thing that will attract immigrants – and that won’t happen by accident. We want an activist Government which will take many initiatives to make the Talossan Republic a fun and exciting place to be.
Candidates:
Txec Danihél DÀL MÁR, Gjermund HIGRAFF, Davïu RÔIBARDET
Three referendums were carried out at the same time as the Seventh Chamber election:
1. Should the Amendment to the Constitution (National Territory) Bill be passed into law?
This act repeals the current territorial boundaries of the Talossan Republic. It states what the historic boundaries of Talossa are, and leaves it to Parlamînt to decide what the boundaries of the Republic's specific jurisdiction will be.
2. Should the Schivâ Doctrine on Pan-Talossan Relations be passed into law?
This act establishes principles for dealing with the Royalist Talossan regime that will be binding on the Government of the Republic. It states that we cannot have any discussions on unity without all constitutional issues being discussed at the same time. It also declares that there is one single Talossan nation, divided into two independent states at this time, and that our Republic favours cultural cooperation and friendship between all Talossans of whatever allegiance.
3. Should the Wittenberg Transition Act be passed into law?
This act mandates that the official webforum of the Republic will from now on be Witt-E.
The elections were run according to the Elections and Referendums Code of the Republic.
The Chamber election were conducted by DemoChoice. The referendums were conducted by BallotBin.
